Seasons

A seasonal universe runs for a fixed time, then records its winners and starts again.

During the season

A season starts at the universe's start time, so everyone who registered early begins with the same resources (Choosing a universe). In its last 7 days no new commander may join, so nobody can arrive at the end to change the standings; everyone already playing plays on.

The end and the Off-Season

At the end the universe enters the Off-Season and keeps running. The final statistics are built once more and the standings stay as they were at the end while the season is recorded: the top players and alliances, the records and the biggest battles go to the Past seasons section of the home page, and the season results reward pays antimatter into the account wallets of the best ranked players. Your account page shows what you received; you move it into any commander from the Wallet page.

The next season

The next season starts in the same universe from nothing: planets, fleets, research, resources, dark matter, alliances and messages all start over, and you get a new commander when you enter again. Your account, your card collection and your wallet stay, and every commander's unspent antimatter moves into its account wallet first.

Every alliance base starts over as well: its buildings, its treasury, its operations and the contribution points and tag cosmetics of every player (Alliance base).
